Gusmao asked them to return to their own places and called for an end to the violence. After hours of travel and delays, hearing from Xanana and Protest spokesman Major Augusto de Araujo Tara (Xanana's immediate right) seemingly satisfied the protestors and they returned home under peacekeeper escort. 060606
